Ice burg lettuce is nice and crunchy but can get kind of bland and boring after awhile. To add a new twist to your sandwiches, replace ice burg lettuce with some other tasty greens like:
Spinach
Arugala (my personal favorite)
Kale
Mizuna (a Japanese green)
Endive
Watercress
Sorrel
Swiss chard
Dandelion
Radicchio
Mustard Greens
Oakleaf
