If you want to try a new protein powder that is not whey or soy based, I recommend trying pea protein. Nature's Way has an Alive! Ultra-shake pea protein in vanilla flavor that sells in the store in small 2 serving packets which I really appreciate. There is 15g of protein in each serving which is quite a bit.
Sometimes I get burnt out on smoothies and shakes, so I'll just mix in protein powder in yogurt. That way I feel like I'm eating versus slurping. I mixed in some of the vanilla pea protein in with some vanilla yogurt just to keep things uniform as I wasn't feeling creative in the flavor department.
I topped the yogurt protein mix with some pepitas (salted pumpkin seeds) for some festivity, Omega-3s and even more protein. I also like that salty & sweet combo.
