I think so. I even ate some of the greens straight out of the bag like they were potato chips. I get all my bagged greens at Trader Joe's because they have an incredible variety at a good price especially their organic bagged greens like one of my newest favorites in that bowl, "Organic Power To The Greens" which is a trio of chard, kale, and spinach. Talk about being nutrient-dense.
Here's a simple salad I made with the Power To The Greens with shredded beets, carrots, purple cabbage, artichoke hearts, walnuts, and hemp seeds sprinkled on top. The hemp seeds are a fun way to add texture and protein.
Now, onto these beautiful babies!
I usually get heirloom tomatoes, but this time I decided to try the Trader Joe's Kumato Brown Tomatoes for my pasta sauce. I like this tomato! It's hearty, and flavorful, and I love the deep red colors inside the Kumato. This tomato is great roasted with sea salt, onion and basil for pasta sauce. The Kumato also looks great in a Caprese salad for a different look. Try it!
Why fun things have you eaten from Trader Joe's lately?
